Faye Tomlinson

Faye is an Assistant Professor and joined the University of Warwick in 2019 after being a social worker with 14 years’ experience within Children's Social Work Services. She is experienced at working in front line child protection; fostering and disability teams and is a qualified Practice Educator keen to continue enabling students with high quality learning opportunities. Faye has experience of mentoring, coaching, and supporting ASYE newly qualified social workers, and has been a ‘Signs of Safety’ lead. She is Social Work England registered.

During her time in the CLL Social Work Team, Faye has developed co-productive working relationships with our experts by experience, ensuring active participation is central to the programme. Another key role has been to facilitate interagency workshops with partner employers; working collaboratively to maintain excellent learning opportunities for apprentices.
